The large, market town of Miranda do Corvo 10 minutes. Miranda do Corvo has its own equestrian centre where organized rides through the Mountain Range of the Serra da Lousã can be arranged. The centre also has a Biological Park, an open air swimming pool and a restaurant specializing in the regional-famous dish 'chanfana'. The Biological Park brings together a wide range of animals representative of the Portuguese fauna. The goal is to raise awareness of wildlife in Portugal and not to create a traditional zoo but a place that is able to show in close to the natural environment, some species that inhabit the Portuguese territory. Featuring among the various animals deer, roe deer, lynx, bear, mouflon sheep, raptors, among others. Miranda do Corvo has all amenities, including a weekly market selling fresh local produce on Wednesdays.
